Disability Law Center of Alaska v. Meyer

3AN-20-07060-CI | Closed

This case was brought in response to Alaska’s Lieutenant Governor and Division of Elections affirmatively mailing absentee ballot applications to only registered Alaska voters aged 65 and over. Plaintiffs alleged age discrimination and violation of multiple constitutional rights in their complaint, and requested that the court send absentee ballot applications to all qualified Alaska voters regardless of age. The United States District Court for the District of Alaska ultimately dismissed the matter with prejudice.
