The Impact

The Washington Post calculated that it only took 90,000 votes for Republicans to lose the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives.  Such a narrow margin, despite a massive effort by the Left to ensure an election victory, underscores how the will of the American people was discarded.  As a result, we face a terrifying likelihood that some of the most fundamental ideals of America will be converted into a Marxist dystopia that could take generations to correct if left unchallenged.  And Americans understood this when they went to the polls to vote in 2020.

The Biden Executive Orders

On January 20, 2021, Inauguration Day, the newly sworn in President Biden signed nine executive orders.  He signed another 16 before the month was over.  This prompted six state Attorneys General to send a letter explaining the limited power of the federal government and the danger of overreach through federal agencies – with a clear warning that they will act if their states are harmed by “agency malfeasance.”

Federalizing Election Law

Per the U.S. Constitution, state legislatures establish the manner in which each state will conduct federal elections.  Covid-19 and the lockdowns provided Democrats a long-awaited opportunity to increase voting by mail while simultaneously weakening election security. In 2020, this was executed on a state by state basis.  In 2021, Democrats will work to push through federal election legislation that will usurp states’ authority and destroy election safeguards.
